Project Engineer
Summary
Coordinates construction drawings, verifies shop drawings, and ensures compliance with building regulations for a Singapore-based project engineering role.
· Bachelor degree qualification in either Civil Engineering, Electrical & Mechanical, or architecture.
· Prepare and maintain the master drawings register for all incoming and outgoing construction drawings.
· Prepare the shop drawing submission schedule with target dates in relation to the Project Master Program.
· Verify all shop drawings for discrepancies, buildability and impact on different disciplines; and ensure critical dimensions are highlighted; details are workable and coordinated with other trades.
· Update and incorporate all amendments of CVI / RFI into the construction drawings and ensure updated and correct drawings are used by all site employees.
· Propose the most suitable/appropriate material/detail for use.
· Provide technical advice to the construction teams, consultants, clients with regard to building regulations.
· Attend technical coordination meetings with consultants and monitor approval of shop drawings from consultants.
· Liaise with sub-contractors on technical issues and timely approval of shop drawings.
· Coordinate between architectural team and consultant drawings to ensure consistency in construction drawings.
· Attend meeting with authorities, consultants and sub-contractors.
· Follow up inspection and ensure compliance to all authorities’ code and requirement.
