Project Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the execution of turn-key cable infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will assist in various project phases, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in managing all phases of cable infrastructure projects, including feasibility studies, trenching, cable laying, jointing, and testing.
- Support in preparing invoices, progress reports, and necessary documentation.
- Attend and contribute to meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Report to and take instructions from the Project Manager
- Supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and safe work practices.
- Prepare incident reports and assist in the preparation of Operation & Maintenance (OMM) manuals upon project completion.
- Assist in any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Fresh graduates with a strong passion for engineering are encouraged to apply or relavant experience in project engineering within the electrical or civil engineering sectors.
- Understanding of the practical application of engineering principles and techniques.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of technical plans, drawings, and models.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
