About IAFD
IAFD supports power generation facilities with HRSG maintenance, expansion joints, penetration seals, and liner systems. We design and fabricate everything in-house, so our engineers see their work go from model to shop floor to the unit.
The Role
We’re looking for a Project Engineer to design and support the expansion joints, liners, and seals we build and install. You’ll work directly with our shop, field service division, and customers, especially during outage season, when timing and accuracy matter most.
What You’ll Do
- Design and detail expansion joints, liner systems, and penetration seals in 3D CAD (SolidWorks)
- Build BOMs and fabrication packages for our in-house shop
- Support customers and Field Services during outages by answering technical questions, solving problems, and turning around revisions quickly
- Make site visits for field verification and job support as needed
- Work with quoting, fabrication, and field services
