Project Engineer
Job Summary
The Project Engineer will be responsible for the planning, coordination, monitoring, implementation, testing, and commissioning of LNPR, VMS, CCTV, and Access Control System projects. The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to approved specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the implementation of LNPR (License Number Plate Recognition), VMS (Visitor management system), CCTV, and Access Control Systems.
- Review project drawings, technical specifications, BOQ, method statements, and project requirements.
- Prepare project schedules, work plans, and installation sequences.
- Coordinate site activities and ensure timely deployment of manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Supervise installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of: LNPR/ANPR systems, VMS CCTV/IP surveillance systems Access control systems, including card readers, biometric devices, barriers, turnstiles, and related equipment
- Coordinate system integration with networks, servers, control rooms, databases, and other third-party systems.
- Ensure equipment installation complies with approved drawings, manufacturer requirements, and project specifications.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Attend project meetings and provide progress updates, technical clarification, and action-item follow-up.
- Prepare and coordinate FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning, and system integration activities.
- Ensure successful handover of completed systems to the client.
- Conduct inspections and ensure installation quality meets project requirements.
RequiredQualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with CCTV, LNPR/ANPR, VMS, Access Control, networking, and system integration is preferred.
- Willing to work 6 days / week
