Job description
The project engineer will support the project manager in delivering project deliverables.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate with engineering, contractors, site personnel and other stakeholders.
- Manage and oversee all technical and engineering aspects of project deliverables.
- Review project designs, drawings, BOQs and specifications to ensure they meet client requirements and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor construction progress, identify risks and deviations, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and support in risk mitigation.
- Liaise with stakeholders including clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 10 to 12 years of relevant oil and gas experience.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in project management consultancy (PMC) is desirable.
