Project Engineer (M&E)
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and managing M&E projects from start to completion.
- Supervise daily site activities and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review and prepare shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, work progress reports, testing & commissioning documents, and other project-related records.
- Monitor project progress, identify site issues, and work with the project team to resolve technical and coordination matters.
- Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment to support project requirements.
- Manage subcontractors' work quality, safety, and progress on site.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, project handover, and preparation of as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
- Ensure all works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in M&E building construction projects in Singapore.
- Familiar with M&E systems
- Able to read technical drawings and coordinate with multiple project stakeholders.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM software is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period is preferred.
