Project Engineer (M&E)

Responsibilities

• In-charge of the progress of subcontractors' work in accordance with drawings, method statements, materials, and samples.
• Liaise with relevant authorities, subcontractors, or clients regarding shop drawings, materials, and samples.
• Review and align fire protection design drawings for adherence to design specifications and guidelines, covering systems such as sprinklers, firealarms, hose reels, wet/dry risers, fire hydrants, and fireman intercoms.
• Task and oversee supervisors to ensure the work is completed in accordance withstandards and SOPs.
• Organize and manage the testing and commissioning of fire protection systems.
• Follow up on-site inspections and authority checks and address any defects in the fire protection work.
• Plan and prepare Operation and Maintenance Manual, training, and As-Built drawings for the handover of completed fire protection systems to the client.
• Monitor the maintenance of fire protection systems during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills
• 5.5 days work week with good company benefits
