Are you passionate about marine engineering and eager to accelerate your career in the maritime and offshore industries? We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team.

This role is a fast-track leadership pathway designed to groom future managers in the marine and industrial boiler sector through structured, hands-on on-the-job training and executive mentorship. You’ll gain deep technical exposure to complex thermal systems, service coordination, safety compliance, and client relations- equipping you with the cross-functional skills needed to step into a full managerial role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational & Project Support: Assist in the end-to-end planning, scheduling, and execution of marine boiler maintenance, upgrade, and repair projects. Coordinate seamlessly with service engineers, specialist technicians, and workshop teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting: Learn the core engineering fundamentals of marine and industrial boiler systems (composite, auxiliary, and thermal oil heaters). Participate in technical inspections, diagnostic troubleshooting, and specialised repair works onboard vessels, shipyards, and in our workshops.
  • Project & Client Coordination: Act as a key liaison supporting Project Managers in communications with international shipowners, shipyard supervisors, and classification society surveyors. Assist in compiling project quotations, defining technical work scopes, and preparing post-project completion reports.
  • Management Development Rotation: Rotate across core business functions including Operations, Technical Engineering, Procurement, and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment). Participate in company-sponsored leadership programs, regular mentoring sessions, and management reviews to build robust people management and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field.
  • Fresh graduates are highly welcome to apply. Prior exposure to ship repair, boilers, or marine engineering environments is a strong advantage but not mandatory.
  • Strong technical interest in maritime systems, excellent communication skills, and a practical, problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability and willingness to work in shipyards, workshops, and onboard vessels as required to oversee project milestones.
  • Willingness to travel and support flexible operational hours aligned with vessel port-stay schedules (allowances provided).

What We Offer

  • Competitive Base Remuneration: A reliable and competitive base salary tailored to your educational qualifications and entry-level experience.
  • Structured Career Progression: Clear, documented milestones to transition from Assistant Project Manager to full Project Manager / Operations Leader.
  • Elite Mentorship: Direct, regular coaching under highly experienced Operations Managers and Marine Industry veterans.
  • Global Technical Exposure: Hands-on experience dealing with diverse, high-value maritime projects across the international marine and offshore sectors.
