Mecalux Project Engineer
Currently, in the Robotics Department, we are looking for a Project Engineer at our headquarters in Cornellà de Llobregat.
What will your main responsibilities be?
- Design Solutions: Translate customer requirements into practical design solutions,ensuring operational feasibility and compliance with CE norms and local regulations.
- System Layout & Documentation: Prepare system layouts, technical specifications, andinstallation packs; maintain accurate project documentation and risk assessments.
- Equipment & Standards: Review equipment design, capacities, and third-party quotationsto ensure standardization, cost efficiency, and value engineering across projects.
- Collaboration & Support: Work closely with internal teams (Simulation, Sales, ProjectManagement) and attend customer meetings to provide technical expertise.
- Tools & Software: Utilize MS Office, CAD and self-developed tools for design, analysis,and project execution.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost savings,and efficiency improvements while ensuring compliance with legislation and safetystandards.
What are the minimum requirements?
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Previous experience in a Project Engineering role within an automated materials handling environment. Skilled in setting up a design in AutoCAD/SolidWorks/EPLAN.
- Excellent command of Spanish and English.
