Project Engineer (Mechanical)

Summary

Oversee mechanical/electrical building projects in Singapore, coordinating teams, schedules, and compliance with local regulations while using AutoCAD and MS Project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee day-to-day execution of assigned projects
  • Read and interpret architectural, structural, and M&E drawings
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities
  • Prepare project schedules, manpower/resource plans, and progress reports
  • Monitor site progress against timeline, budget, and quality benchmarks
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and site safety protocols
  • Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Chair/attend site and progress meetings; resolve technical and site issues promptly
  • Prepare and submit as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and testing & commissioning documentation

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services/Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in the M&E or building construction industry in Singapore
  • Familiarity with BCA regulations and submission processes (CORENET experience a plus)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work on-site and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
