Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer for the Project Department who will be responsible for handling project execution, equipment installation, utility coordination, and maintenance support. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and experience in managing engineering projects from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor mechanical projects as per timelines and project requirements.
  • Supervise installation, commissioning, and validation of machinery and equipment.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and contractors for smooth project execution.
  • Prepare project schedules, BOQ, technical specifications, and reports.
  • Ensure proper utility setup such as HVAC, piping, compressed air, water systems, and other mechanical services.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain documentation related to project activities.
  • Handle preventive and corrective maintenance support during project implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMP, and company policies.
  • Support plant expansion, new machine installation, and facility modification projects.
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, layouts, and technical documents.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, piping, HVAC, utilities, and project execution
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD / engineering drawings
  • Good understanding of installation and commissioning activities
  • Vendor and contractor management skills
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience in pharmaceuticals / manufacturing industry projects preferred
  • Hands-on experience in plant machinery installation and utility systems
  • Ability to work under timelines and project deadlines
