Project Engineer (Mechanical Piping) #10203

Job Description

  • Working Location: Tampines (Site-based)
  • Working Hours: 5 Days, Mon – Thu (8am – 6pm), Fri (8am – 5pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + Meal & Transport Allowance + Performance Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning, coordinating, scheduling, and delivering semiconductor facility and piping projects.
  • Prepare, implement, and monitor detailed project plans, including project scope, budget, schedule, and resource requirements.
  • Supervise and guide project teams by providing technical support, leadership, and direction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of semiconductor plant construction, piping installations, and project management to ensure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to evaluate and approve design drawings and specifications, ensuring alignment with client expectations and safety requirements.
  • Manage daily site operations, ensuring construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to approved project plans.
  • Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure project outcomes meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Perform regular site inspections and compliance audits to verify adherence to project specifications, safety requirements, and industry standards.
  • Monitor project costs, oversee budget utilization, and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
  • Support the preparation of project quotations, cost estimates, and tender proposals for upcoming projects.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, acting as the primary liaison throughout the duration of each project.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, provide consistent project progress updates, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in the Bulk Gas or Specialty Gas industry.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints, engineering drawings, and 2D/3D technical plans.
  • Language proficiency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) to prepare operational reports and communicate effectively with local and regional stakeholders.
