Project Engineer (Piling)
Job Description
- Tendering & Estimation: Review tender drawings, calculate material quantities, source competitive vendor quotes, and prepare technical bid proposals for piling works.
- Bored Piling Supervision: Oversee day-to-day bored piling operations, including borehole drilling monitoring, slurry testing, cage installation, and tremie concreting logs.
- Monitor tremie concreting: Manage the execution of concrete pouring via tremie pipes and maintain precise piling logs.
- Coordinate site execution: Carry out all ongoing project phases according to the schedule and approved drawings.
- QA/QC & Compliance: Formulate Project Quality Plans, enforce local construction codes, and manage Request for Inspection (RFI) submissions to consultants.
- Lifting Operations Management: Take full responsibility for planning, supervising, and reviewing heavy lifting safety plans for site cranes and piling rigs.
- Site Coordination & Safety: Conduct routine site checks to ensure absolute safety compliance while coordinating with project teams to resolve technical anomalies.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2 to 5 years of working experience in the related field is required.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Work closely with project team to resolve technical issues.
- Good attitude and communication skills.
- Willing to multi-task.
- Working Location: Tampines (will relocate to Woodlands site upon project award).
