Project Engineer / Project Manager (Audio Visual Information Technology)

Salary: RM 3,150 – RM 4,725 per month

About the role

AV Intelligence designs, integrates and supports audio-visual and control systems for residential, hospitality, education and commercial projects across Singapore and Malaysia. We are seeking an AV Project Engineer / Project Manager to coordinate Malaysia projects and ensure that site work follows approved designs, schedules and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project schedules, coordinate site activities and track delivery milestones.

• Coordinate clients, consultants, contractors, installers and AVI's technical team.

• Check drawing revisions, equipment readiness and site requirements before installation.

• Identify discrepancies between site conditions, third-party drawings and AVI's approved design; escalate and hold affected work pending resolution.

• Track variations, outstanding decisions, risks and corrective actions.

• Maintain site reports, photographs, testing records and handover documentation.

• Coordinate commissioning and verify that outstanding items are closed.

About you

• Relevant experience delivering AV, systems integration or M&E projects.

• Ability to read architectural, electrical and AV drawings.

• Strong organisation, subcontractor coordination and written communication.

• Practical understanding of AV systems and their installation requirements.

• Willingness to travel to project sites.

• Ability to work with Singapore technical management and maintain clear company records.
