Project Engineer
Description
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities.
Supervise daily ME&I site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with clients, authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Monitor project schedules, manpower, materials, site progress, and overall work quality.
Review method statements, risk assessments, ITPs, and PTW requirements before work execution.
Attend site meetings, resolve technical issues, and report progress, risks, and delays to the Project Manager.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant site management experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, asset renewal, or construction projects.
Experience in ME&I site supervision, project coordination, scheduling, and documentation.
Knowledge of engineering standards, construction practices, quality control, and WSH requirements.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and technical documents.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; WSQ Process Plant Safety certification or equivalent is preferred.
Willing to work full-time on-site and travel between project sites when required.
