Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer (M&E / Data Centre Projects)

About our client:
Our client is a leading Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering contractor in Singapore, specialising in large-scale M&E projects including data centres, industrial facilities, and commercial developments.
About the role: Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the successful execution and delivery of M&E projects. You will be involved in project coordination, site supervision, technical submissions, and ensuring works are completed according to project requirements, specifications, and timelines. Support the Project Manager in managing and monitoring project progress. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor M&E installation works and ensure compliance with contract drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Prepare project documentation including method statements, shop drawings, work progress reports, installation and testing & commissioning (T&C) checklists. Coordinate technical submissions, equipment submissions, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. Liaise with relevant stakeholders to resolve technical and site issues. Support procurement activities and coordination of materials, equipment, and manpower. Supervise subcontractors and ensure works are completed according to project requirements. About you: Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in M&E construction projects in Singapore. Hands-on experience in project execution, site coordination, and M&E installation works. Experience working on
data centre projects or DfMA projects
will be advantageous. Mechanical candidates with experience in systems such as VAV, VRV, cooling towers, chillers, chilled water piping, and A&A works are preferred. Electrical candidates with experience in retrofit, renovation, lighting control, or BMS systems are preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders. Good command of English. Able to commence work immediately or with short notice. Willing to travel to client project sites based on project requirements. Others: Work location: Project sites located in the East or West of Singapore (depending on project assignment) Work hours: 5.5 days work week (Alternate Saturdays)
