Project Engineer
Summary
Leads and coordinates security system projects from planning to completion, managing schedules, site coordination, and stakeholder communication for installations like CCTV and access control systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate security system projects from planning to completion
- Manage project schedule, manpower arrangement, site coordination and progress updates
- Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and system programming works
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and according to quality standards
- Handle permit applications and approvals from relevant parties
- Handle project documentation, reports and handover requirements
- Support troubleshooting, issue escalation and client satisfaction matters
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Communication Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant project experience preferred
- Experience in CCTV, Access Control, Alarm System, ELV, Networking or Security System projects will be an advantage
- Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage project timeline, site issues and stakeholder expectations
- Responsible, proactive and able to work independently
