PROJECT ENGINEER

Job Description:

Report to the MD / Snr. Project Manager / Project Manager.
Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of civil engineering projects (roads, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure).
Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Provide engineering solutions and resolve technical issues during project execution.
Monitor project progress, ensuring cost, quality, safety, and schedule targets are met.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and government authorities (e.g., LTA, PUB) to ensure smooth project delivery.
Conduct site inspections and enforce safe work practices.
Prepare reports, documentation, and updates for management and stakeholders.
Support tender preparation and participate in project meetings.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (recognized by PE Board) or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience in civil, structural, and infrastructure works.
Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills; able to work independently.
Familiarity with LTA / PUB projects is an advantage.
5.5 days' work week.
