Project Engineer
Summary
Manages engineering projects from planning to delivery, ensuring schedules, budgets, and compliance with safety standards while coordinating teams and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and successful project delivery
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including method of statements, risk assessments, technical specifications, drawings, manuals and inspection reports.
Coordinate project activities and resolve technical issues. Monitor project progress and performance against key project milestones.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives
Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulations, and health and safety requirements
What we're looking for
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project engineering or project management within the engineering sector
Practical experience in steel and site installation works, including tank / piping fabrication and equipment installation projects.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound technical decisions
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
