Project Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day project activities from commencement to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Supervise site works and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, method statements and project documentation.
- Monitor project progress, quality and safety requirements.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with relevant project stakeholders.
- Track project schedules, materials, manpower and subcontractor progress.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the relevant parties to resolve them.
- Prepare progress reports and other project-related documentation.
- Ensure works comply with Singapore regulations, safety requirements and project specifications.
- Assist the Project Manager in achieving project objectives, budget and completion timelines.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant project/site experience preferred.
- Experience in the construction or engineering industry will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Revit/BIM and other engineering or construction software will be an advantage.
- Able to read and understand structural, architectural and engineering drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
- Willing to work on construction sites and travel between project locations when required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or relevant engineering software is an advantage.
