Project Engineer

He/she will essentially do organization, management and implementation wind certification project, in particular Component certification, type certification, specific site design evaluation, project certification. Further, the engineer will be responsible for independent execution and timely completion of projects by analyzing project scope and determining project specifications, coordinating with clients and project manager during the course of the project and preparing evaluation report for clients. Further She/he will support our team to audit and evaluate manufacturing process at client site.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communication with business partners and customer relationship management

• Project Management and co-ordination, execution and the customer communication

• Collaborate and cooperate with the global team

• Technical review of the documentation from clients/from UL inside

• Manage ECD and deliverables

• Integration of continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job

• Optimization of work process

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participation in an internationally operating team and providing required support in day to day activities

• Communication with business partners at home and abroad

• Support other certification work in the team

• Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, mechanical or dynamic systems or any equivalent field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the area of wind turbine certification project with the use of the common IEC standards for wind turbines

• Excellent knowledge in certification process

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Experience in the continuous development of work processes (Lean Six Sigma) is desirable

• Hands-on experience in project management

• Hands-on experience on manufacturing processes

• Customer focus, commitment and independent work

• Good communication skills (English speaking and writing)

• Willingness to travel (within China and outside the country)
