Project Engineer – Vehicle Controls & Brake Controls

FEV is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vehicle Controls & Brake Controls Engineer to join our innovative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced control systems for a range of vehicles, including conventional, hybrid, and electric models. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, integrating, and validating control functions that enhance vehicle performance, safety, and drivability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize control strategies for vehicle-level control functions and brake control systems.
• Define system and functional requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Integrate vehicle features at the system level, ensuring seamless operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Calibrate and validate control algorithms through simulation, prototype testing, and vehicle testing.
• Work on both prototype and production-intent solutions to meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and validation teams to ensure robust system performance.
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of control systems throughout the development lifecycle.
