Project Engineer
Summary
Oversee construction costs for façade projects: measure quantities, prepare bids, track budgets, and reconcile costs with site teams.
Job description
Perform quantity take-offs and measurement from drawings, specifications, and site surveys for façade and rope access scopes of work
Prepare cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and tender pricing for new project bids
Review engineering drawings and technical specifications to assess constructability, material requirements, and labor needs
Track project costs against budget, including variation orders, progress claims, and cost-value reconciliation
Liaise with site/project teams to verify quantities and resolve discrepancies between design intent and site conditions
Prepare and submit progress claims, final accounts, and supporting documentation
Support procurement / sales by quantifying project, manpower, material and subcontractor requirements
Maintain accurate cost records and contribute to post-project cost analysis for future estimating accuracy
Coordinate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to ensure alignment on scope, cost, and schedule
Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
· A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
· At least 1 year of experience as a Construction Project Engineer.
· Familiarize with Façade Systems
· Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
· The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
· Excellent project management and supervision skills.
· Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, anddecision-making skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices
