PROJECT ENGINEER

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned site projects from planning through completion;
• Develop detailed project plan including timelines, budgets, resources and risk assessments;
• Interact with clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field;
• Perform quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans and personnel performance;
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes of practice (LTA), performance standards and specifications of the material during the road works;
• Coordinate with various teams including structural layout, roadwork construction and maintenance(s) to ensure project goals are met;
• Develop specifications for project equipment and materials;
• Create frameworks to measure project metrics and establish data collection methods;
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate necessary corrective actions;
• Maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports, technical specifications and pipeline calculations;
• Provide technical support and guidance to project team members;
• Identify project risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track;
• Report regularly to project managers on progress and potential problems affecting cost or schedule.
