Project Executive (QS)
Summary
A Quantity Surveyor prepares cost estimates, reviews contracts, and verifies payments for property management projects in Singapore using public-sector standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates.
- Review Schedule of Rates and build up Star Rates.
- Compile six monthly cost information.
- Conduct site study and condition survey.
- Verify progress payments and final accounts.
- Evaluate and verify contractor’s final claim of final payment / VOs.
- Prepare variation orders including taking-off quantities and site measurements.
- Prepare and call term contracts tenders.
- Prepare and secure tenders for QS consultancy services.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Building/Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- At least 2 years experience in quantity surveying
- Good knowledge in public sector standard conditions of contract and Workplace Safety & Health Act.
- Good understanding & interpretation of project specifications and drawings
