Project Inspector-Electrical Auxiliaries (Local)(Pakil)
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) or Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) License
- Electrical Safety Training
- Construction Safety Training (e.g., COSH)
- Testing and Commissioning Training
- Hydropower or Power Plant Electrical Systems Training
- High Voltage Switching and Safety Certification
- QA/QC Certification
- FIDIC Contract Awareness Training
- Experience in hydropower, pumped storage, power generation, or large infrastructure projects. Minimum 8 years
- Experience in electrical inspection and site supervision
- Experience with electrical auxiliary systems in power plants
- Experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems
- Experience in installation of MV/LV systems, transformers, switchgear, and auxiliary equipment
- Experience on Owner's Engineer or Supervision Consultant assignments
- International hydropower project experience
- Conduct daily inspection of electrical auxiliary systems installation works.
- Verify compliance of electrical works with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and contract requirements.
- Inspect installation of transformers, switchgear, batteries, UPS systems, cable trays, lighting systems, grounding systems, and auxiliary equipment.
- Witness electrical testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Monitor contractor compliance with quality requirements, inspection and test plans, and approved work methods.
- Identify and report non-conforming work, defects, and installation deficiencies.
- Participate in site safety inspections and ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements.
- Verify implementation of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other electrical safety measures.
- Maintain inspection records, testing reports, and site documentation.
- Assist in reviewing technical submissions, method statements, and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, commissioning engineers, and supervision teams.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during installation and commissioning.
- Monitor progress of electrical auxiliary works and report schedule concerns.
- Assist in system acceptance, handover, and punch-list closure activities.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Resident Engineer, Electrical Lead Engineer, or Team Leader.
