Summary

A 6-month consulting role in Singapore supporting a client project in the semiconductor or advanced manufacturing industry, analyzing business problems and delivering recommendations using standard productivity tools.

This is a fixed-term role of 6-months only to support a fixed duration client project. The suitable candidate is expected to hit the ground running from day one of the client project.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will join our Singapore office to work in teams and directly with our client.

In this role, you will work with our client services team to help our client solve their most difficult problems. You will also work with many experts, from data scientists and researchers to software and app designers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You’ll work in a team of typically 3 – 5 consultants, playing an active role in all aspects of the client engagement.

This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations. You’ll also have the opportunity to present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.

Requirements

  • University degree and excellent academic record required.
  • 2+ years of business management and/or business consulting experience in a reputed company. As this is a short-term role involving work on urgent projects, experience working in a top-tier management consulting firm is highly advantageous.
  • Solid functional knowledge, including but not limited to strategy, product development, project management, marketing, and sales, etc.
  • Proficiency in these technologies for internal and external communications: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, Box, Cursor and Claude
  • Ability to work effectively within an international, multi-country project team whose leadership is based primarily in Europe, including comfort collaborating across European and Asian time zones
  • Experience in, or direct exposure to, the semiconductor and/or advanced manufacturing sector or a comparable complex process/industrial operations environment - with the ability to quickly build credibility in a highly technical manufacturing setting
  • Outstanding records of academic and managerial or professional achievement
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills being able to analyze main performance management KPIs in manufacturing context (e.g., Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE))
  • Strong record of leadership in an academic, professional, or extracurricular setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • As our client is English-speaking, ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English
