PROJECT LEADER ROAD AND UTILITY WORKS – INFRASTRUCTURE

Your Role

• Plan, organize, and coordinate road and utility infrastructure projects.
• Determine the most efficient construction methods, materials, and project phasing.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and available resources.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain relationships with clients, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor site activities and support site managers.
• Resolve technical challenges and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Report project progress to the headquarters in Aalst.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Your Profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering (Construction).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in leadership roles within infrastructure, roadworks, or utility works projects.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Independent, proactive, and decisive.
• Excellent communication and commercial skills.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is considered an asset.
• Experience with project planning, contract management, and budget control.
• Knowledge of risk management and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards.
• Accurate and structured working style, able to perform well under pressure and focused on finding solutions.
