Project Management Analyst
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Management Analyst to join our team at the in St. Inigoes, MD. This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days of onsite work.
The Project Management Analyst role directly supports the Naval Aviation Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Cyber Workforce Program Manager by collecting, organizing, and interpreting data relating to training products, acquisition programs, and workforce development initiatives to ensure efficient operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Analyze project requirements in the areas of business management, financial management, program scheduling, milestone tracking, critical path analyses, and support requirements
Gather and analyze information from multiple Navy and Contractor entities to prepare reports, update schedules, manage risks, document and track action items, effectively solve problems, recommend improvements, and actively keep division leadership informed of status
Perform other related analyst and management activities required for the successful completion of required tasks
Review, update, draft, and manage the configuration of technical documentation
Provide assistance in the execution of small projects and improvement initiatives
Analyze and update processes for improved efficiency
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline and 3+ years of relevant project analyst experience, or an Associate’s degree and 4+ years of relevant project analyst experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
Experience with managing and developing project schedule and budget
Experience performing management, technical, or business case analyses supporting a government agency
Experience utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams)
Demonstrated experience analyzing requirements and developing program objectives
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working with Navy Requirements Process
Clearance Requirements:
US Citizenship required and an active Secret security clearance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other standard equipment.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
Must be able to exchange accurate information in all professional situations.
