Project Management & Asset Operations –Front of the meter Solar Project, Philippines

This is a critical role, working in close conjunction with the Head of Project Delivery and Head of Power Business, to lead solar projects delivery and operations, both ground-mounted and rooftop, offsite as well as onsite projects in the Philippines.

Job Summary:

The person will be responsible for project management & asset management for solar power plants primarily in the Philippines. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring efficient operations, optimizing asset performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and completion of solar projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Asset Operations: Oversee the operation and maintenance of solar assets, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with government regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.

- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, government agencies as well as managing turnkey EPC Contractors and other subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution.

- Reporting: Preparing of MIS report, Daily progress report, monthly progress report.

- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks associated with solar plant management.

- Performance Optimization: Implement data-driven strategies to enhance energy output, reduce downtime, and improve asset longevity; and

- Budget & Cost Control: Manage financial planning, cost analysis, and resource allocation to optimize project profitability.

• Travelling in across the Philippines.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (MBA preferred.

• Up to 10 years successful experience in Front of the Meter solar project management and asset operations.

• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, grid integration, and energy storage solutions

• Fully proficient in English.

• Spirit of dedication and teamwork.

• Resourceful and self-driven.

• Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills; and

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
