Project Management Manager [SL]

1. Construction Phase Management

• Oversee construction documentation, contractual submissions and approval requirements.

• Coordinate construction planning based on project scope, resource requirements and delivery schedules.

• Implement construction management procedures and risk controls to support efficient site operations.

• Evaluate progress reports and monitor project performance against contractual time, cost and quality targets.

• Coordinate project meetings, monitor action items and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues.

• Review quality assurance and control processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and stakeholder expectations.

• Oversee site inspections and monitor compliance with applicable regulations, standards and procedures.

• Evaluate subcontractors' work performance and coordinate corrective actions where required.

2. Project Completion and Handover

• Review and verify defects, outstanding works and variations against approved construction plans and drawings.

• Coordinate the completion and verification of rectification works.

• Monitor the effectiveness of testing and commissioning procedures for building components, equipment and systems.

• Review technical documentation to ensure readiness for project handover and closure.

• Coordinate the preparation and submission of handover documents in accordance with regulatory, legislative and maintenance requirements.

• Monitor defects during the defects liability period and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.

3. Safety and Environmental Sustainability

• Monitor compliance with WSH policies, site safety requirements and established procedures.

• Oversee site inspections and follow up on identified safety issues.

• Review accident and incident records and coordinate appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

• Support the implementation of environmental sustainability measures and green building standards.

4. Continuous Improvement and Risk Management

• Research developments, trends and emerging technologies in the built environment.

• Evaluate proposed improvement initiatives to enhance construction productivity, cost control, quality and project timelines.

• Develop and implement risk management measures in accordance with the organisation's risk management framework.

• Promote continuous improvement in construction processes, site coordination and project delivery.
