About the role:

Joining our Strategic Delivery team the role will provide Project Management expertise across LIC actively supporting both our key strategic projects and future pipeline of work.

You will have a well-established record of successful project delivery in complex information technology environments.

Excelling at communication and stakeholder management you’ll liaise with our internal teams, business stakeholders as well as our external Service Providers to achieve great outcomes. Your attention to detail will ensure you have your finger on the pulse for all aspects of the project.

Your Key Focus:

  • Navigate and manage organisational change and communications with ease.

  • Contribute innovative ideas for efficient project progress.

  • Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members for positive action and accountability.

  • Proactively identify and manage dependencies, change and risk, determining critical paths and devising contingency plans.

  • Facilitate seamless transition from project delivery to operational support.

  • Collaboratively define OKRs for success.

  • Manage and maintain accurate project records and contractual obligations including timely reporting.

About You:

We’re looking for a candidate with the ability to actively listen to stakeholders and turn these insights into outcome focussed actions. You’ll know how to ask the right questions, influence easily, and build strong relationships across the business.

You’ll have a track-record of successful project delivery, ideally within complex enterprise and/or technology environments. Your strong communication skills will enable effective collaboration and decision-making, and your action-oriented mindset will mean you are driven to achieve great outcomes for the business.

Your attention to detail will ensure you have your finger on the pulse for all aspects of the project including timeline, scope elements and budget. You’ll be comfortable with uncertainty and adaptable to change in a fast paced, busy environment.

To ensure your success, you'll demonstrate:

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Project Manager, or business manager with demonstrable abilities and a track record of responsibility for successful delivery of Information Security maturity and organisational change projects

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution capabilities.

  • Proven capability to stay calm and organised when faced with multiple projects within tight deadlines.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship building skills

  • Process focused and detail orientated.

  • Flexible attitude, open to change and able to cope in an ever-changing environment.
