Position Summary:
LSB is seeking a highly qualified Capital Project Engineer to join our team at our El Dorado, AR facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all phases of capital projects, from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The Capital Project Engineer will be responsible for developing project scopes, timelines, and budgets, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and managing project resources.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project scopes, timelines, and budgets in accordance with company goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards throughout all phases of the project.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.
- Manage project resources, including staff, equipment, and materials.
- Track and report project progress, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, including senior management, project sponsors, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and other project-related documentation.
- Mentor and train junior project managers and team members.
