Summary
Leads construction project teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to quality and safety standards — from drawings and authority submissions to client meetings and handover. Requires 8+ years of construction experience; AutoCAD, PVSyst and HelioScope experience is a plus.
The Project Manager is the main responsible for leading the project team to complete projects on time, within budget and meeting quality parameters in line with the standards and expectations of the project.
Responsibilities
- Manage team members, who are responsible for tracking project progression according to schedule, within budget, contractual, quality and safety standards
- Provide technical expertise as required on project
- Ensure that all drawings are completed and submissions to the authorities are carried out in a timely manner
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to identify project risks, barriers, and issues and propose possible solutions and mitigation strategies
- Attend and chair project kick off meetings, daily meetings and project closure meetings with clients and other parties
- Efficient management of resources and materials
- Adherence to quality and safety practices in the work place
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work with people from all levels
Requirements:
- Education: Min Diploma or Degree in construction related
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of construction experience
- Excellent track record of ability to manage teams and projects (from tender to hand over)
- Skilled in project management frameworks
- Specific experience in AutoCAD, PVSyst, Heliscope in an advantage
