Project manager

Summary

Coordinates construction projects, tracks budgets and timelines, and liaises with stakeholders in the built environment sector.

Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

• Coordinate with stakeholders (Client, Consultants, Contractor and end-users) on day-to-day project matters.

• Support the Lead Project Manager in managing the consultants and contractors involved in the project.

• Attend Project Progress Meeting, Technical Meetings and Design and Coordination Meetings, and prepare the meeting minutes.

• Monitor the project programme and flag potential delay events to the Lead Project Manager.

• Track project cash flow projections and organize the processing of payment recommendations to the Client.

• Support the Lead Project Manager in project administration and documentation.

• Coordinate with consultants to track deliverables against the agreed programme and completion dates.

• Support the handing over process of the completed project to the relevant stakeholders.

• Support the defects reporting and rectification process during the Defects Liability Period.

• Assist in the variation certification and closure process, in collaboration with other consultants.

• Prepare and issue regular reporting to the Client.

Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills& Behaviours)

• Relevant educational qualifications and working experience in the built environment sector.

• Willing and able to work on-site if required.

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil& Structural or Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or other relevant qualifications.

• Minimum 2 - 5 years' experience in the building, fit-out construction sector

• Strong preference for corporate real estate, data centre experience

• Preference for candidates with M&E experience, both in consultancy or in contractor

• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
