GOPA Tech is hiring a Project Manager and/or Project Engineer to deliver consultancy projects for high-voltage (EHV) power transmission and distribution infrastructure worldwide, with a focus on Africa. The role covers bidding, studies, design, tendering and implementation of transmission lines, substations, SCADA and dispatching systems.

- You will work in our Power System Team andcontributetotechnical,commercialand/or acquisitionrelatedtasks.
- Yourexpertisecovers managingconsultancyprojectsduringimplementationand/orsupportingthe full bidding stage for high voltage transmission and/or distribution projects.
- Provision of technical andprojectmanagementexpertisefor studies, design,tenderingand implementation of high voltage infrastructure projects
- Our focus is EHV and high voltage transmissionlines& substations, SCADA, dispatchingsystemsand distribution projects
- Our project locations are around the globe withspecialfocus on Africa.
- University degree in electrical engineering preferred, other engineering degrees mayalsobeconsidered
- Proven professional experiencein a similar role, preferably in consultancy and/or EPC companies or utilities:
- Minimum 10 yearsof experiencefortheProject Managerposition
- Minimum 5 yearsof experiencefor the Project Engineerposition
- Experience in power transmission and/or distribution projects, including transmission lines, substations,SCADAor dispatching systems
- Fluency inEnglishis mandatoryand in French is an advantage
- Besides your technical and commercial skills, you are communicative, responsible, ready to travel abroad, and an advanced user of MS Office
- You like to look for innovative solutions, to learnnew technologiesand to take up challenges
