The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) incorporating the Faculty of Pain Medicine, is an internationally recognised specialist medical education institution responsible for the training, examinations, specialist qualification, and continuing professional development of all anaesthetists and pain medicine specialists in Australia and New Zealand.
The college's purpose is to serve our communities by leading high-quality patient care in anaesthesia, perioperative and pain medicine, optimizing health and reducing the burden of pain.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Information Technology & Security team. Reporting to the Delivery Lead within the PMO, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives, partnering with business and technical stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully across scope, schedule, budget and quality outcomes.

What you will be doing
As Project Manager, you will:
- Lead multiple concurrent projects from initiation through to delivery and benefits realisation.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, RAID logs, budgets and reporting.
- Apply agile, waterfall and hybrid delivery approaches to suit project needs.
- Coordinate internal teams, vendors, contractors and business stakeholders.
- Drive stakeholder engagement, communications and project governance activities.
- Support organisational change, business readiness and adoption outcomes.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and resource constraints.
- Produce high-quality project artefacts and status reporting for leadership and governance forums.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO practices, frameworks and delivery standards.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects in a structured project environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and agile delivery practices.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Strong risk, dependency and vendor management capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft 365 and visual delivery boards such as Kanban.
Desirable
- PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, Scrum or similar certification.
- Experience within healthcare, education, membership or not-for-profit environments.
- Exposure to portfolio management, benefits realisation and organisational change initiatives.
