Project Manager at atNorth

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering assigned projects and engagements across atNorth, ensuring clear scope, plans, governance, stakeholder alignment and management, risk management, and delivery progress.

The role sits within the PMO and contributes to the development and maintenance of atNorth’s project management toolbox, templates, reporting practices, and delivery standards.

The position supports the PMO’s ambition to provide skilled project management capacity to engagements for defined periods, enabling consistent, structured, and effective delivery across the business.

You can work from any of our Nordic locations, and our site in Copenhagen area, DEN01 will be the primary focus in the beginning.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead assigned projects and engagements from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, handover, and closure.

  • Establish and maintain clear project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, roles, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions.

  • Drive project execution by coordinating cross-functional teams, facilitating effective meetings, following up on actions, and ensuring progress against agreed plans.

  • Apply atNorth project management methods, templates, tools, and governance expectations in a pragmatic and consistent way.

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, plans, status reporting, RAID logs, decision logs, and other relevant delivery materials.

  • Ensure stakeholders have clear, timely, and relevant information on project progress, risks, decisions, and required actions.

  • Support project governance activities, including preparation for stage gates, steering meetings, and decision points.

  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the PMO project management toolbox, including templates, guidance, methods, and reporting practices.

  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery practices based on lessons learned from engagements.

  • Support PMO activities as needed, including portfolio visibility, standardization, competence development, and continuous improvement.

Your profile:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business or in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.

  • 5+ years of experience managing projects, preferably in complex, technical, infrastructure, construction, operational, sustainability, compliance, or cross-functional environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, risks, and decision points.

  • Strong experience with project planning, documentation, reporting, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Preferred certificates:

· IPMA Level B, PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent project management certification.
