Project Manager
Summary
Oversee global rollout of a manufacturing execution system (MES/ECS) across factories, coordinating vendors, testers, and business teams through implementation, testing, and post-go-live support.
We are looking for Project Manager - remote / hybrid (Kraków).
The person will be responsible for the implementation of the MES application (ECS) across factories around the world. There is a larger team of Project Managers who are responsible for similar activities.
The person will drive the project from the beginning, including presenting the application to potentially interested factories, through implementation, testing and deployment, to the end of the project, including the Hypercare period after go-live.
The Project Manager will work closely with teams of developers from the vendor, internal testers, the internal configuration team and Business Analysts. The role will also involve regular contact with business representatives and factory teams.
The project will be managed according to a Gate model.
The person will be responsible for continuously monitoring project progress and maintaining regular communication with stakeholders and managers, including weekly and monthly status updates and Gate meetings.
It is not mandatory, but the ability to occasionally visit the company's office in Kraków, Poland, would be an advantage.
Requirements:
Strong experience in IT Project Management.
Technical background, particularly in cloud solutions (Azure), global application implementations and application interfaces.
Experience in coordinating geographically distributed project teams and working with external vendors.
Experience working with project teams located across different countries and time zones.
SAP experience would be an advantage, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
Experience with production processes, production lines or factory environments would be an advantage.
Willingness and availability to travel.
