Project Manager- BANKING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Summary

Oversee large banking technology projects, coordinating teams across locations to deliver infrastructure changes on time and within budget while aligning with enterprise standards.

Job brief

The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful execution / implementation of Technology Projects ensuring a coherent, comprehensive approach to the management of changes in order to minimize duplication of efforts and maximize the effectiveness of solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Planning the project execution and deployment of large and complex technology infrastructure projects ensuring effective: Timelines, Budget Management, Documentation and Reporting etc.
  • Issue and Risk assessment and management
  • Adhering to Change Management policy and processes
  • Quality assurance; Adherence to Enterprise Architecture standards
  • Identifies, defines and implements a tracking mechanism for the benefits of the investment.
  • Develops RFIs and RFPs, as required.
  • Provides Input to and oversees the solution architecture to
    assure alignment with business objectives.
  • Leads a diverse project team, in multiple locations, with
    multiple accountabilities, ensuring that all project deliverables are achieved in a cohesive, timely and cost effective manner.
  • Identifying coaching and motivational needs, ensuring PPP's are completed in a timely and effective manner and providing coaching, motivational and mentoring to all team members, as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management Studies or any related discipline
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager
  • Prior Supervisory experience
  • Comparable scheduling skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good ability to train people
