Project Manager

What are your contributions to the team?

• Evaluate and propose cutting-edge technological acquisition opportunities for the machining, sheet metal,composite, and assembly sectors, allowing the organization to achieve technological excellence.
• Define the strategy for carrying out its projects: content, scope, resources, deadlines, costs, risks, qualitymanagement, communications, and training.
• Manage the activities of the development project phases: feasibility study, project mandate and business plan,acquisition, implementation and production start-up.
• Manage the budget, schedule, and resources in all phases. Prepare and present progress reports to differentlevels of management.
• Align the work of the resources involved and be the interface between the different matrix services.
• Manage client expectations and change requests within projects.
• Develop risk management and mitigation plans.
• Participate in problem solving and recovery plans when necessary to meet deadlines for key deliverables.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of our project management processes.

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Automated ProductionEngineering or Industrial Engineering, or any other relevant experience.
• You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management.
• You possess knowledge of manufacturing processes in the aeronautical industry (Asset).
• You possess assets in human resources management within the framework of matrix project management.
• You hold a PMI certification (asset).
• You have a good analytical mind.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a great sense of organization.
• You are fluent in French and English both written and spoken.
• You have knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
• You are passionate about achieving technological excellence.
