Project Manager

A.Purpose andScope

The Project Manager is accountable for the end-to-enddelivery of modular accommodation projects for offshore, marine, and oil &gas applications, from project kickoff through engineering, procurement,installation, pre-commissioning, and final handover.

The roleensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in fullcompliance with contractual, technical, and QHSE requirements, acting as theprimary interface between the client, internal teams, yards, andsubcontractors.

The ProjectManager provides overall leadership across multiple sites and disciplines,ensuring seamless coordination between engineering, fabrication, logistics,site installation, commissioning, and sail-away readiness.

B. Responsibilities and Duties

i. ProjectManagement & Execution

· Overallresponsibility for projectplanning, execution, monitoring, and close-out in line withcontract scope, milestones, and budget.

· Ensure 100% compliance with QHSE policies,project HSE plans, and client safety requirements across all phases.

· Develop andmaintain the ProjectExecution Plan (PEP), including scope definition, WBS,schedules, and deliverables.

· Establishand manage project milestones including MC,RFC, FAT/HAT, SAT, and sail-away readiness.

· Monitorproject cost, cash flow, variations, and claims; ensure timely identificationand management of risks and opportunities.

· Coordinateclosely with Project Controls to track progress, productivity, forecasting, andcorrective actions.

· Ensureeffective interface management between engineering, procurement, fabrication,logistics, and site activities.

ii. Engineering,Procurement & Interface Management

· Leadcoordination with Engineering teams to ensure timely issuance of IFC drawings,method statements, and technical deliverables.

· Manageinterfaces related to E&I, HVAC, architectural, fire & gas, telecom,and control systems within modular accommodation units.

· Ensureprocurement activities align with project schedules and technicalspecifications.

· Review andapprove technical queries (TQs), deviations, and vendor documentation incoordination with engineering and QA/QC teams.

· Ensureconstructability, modularization philosophy, and installation methodology areembedded early in project execution.

iii. SiteManagement & Coordination

· Providestrategic oversight to Site Managers and construction teams across multipleyards or regions.

· Ensureinstallation activities comply with approved drawings, ITPs, method statements,and client specifications.

· Coordinatewith Client Representatives, Yard Management, and Marine Warranty Surveyors asrequired.

· Chairregular project meetings including internal coordination meetings and clientprogress reviews.

· Supportresolution of site constraints, access limitations, and sequencing challengesimpacting schedule or safety.

iv. Safety,Quality & Compliance

· Enforce astrong safety leadershipculture, ensuring toolbox talks, PTW systems, and riskassessments are implemented effectively.

· Ensurecompliance with ITRs,FTRs, NCR management, punch listing, and close-out requirements.

· Lead andsupport internal, client, classification society, and third-party audits.

· Ensure allquality records, as-built documentation, and handover dossiers meet contractualand regulatory requirements.

v. Logistics,Cost & Resource Management

· Overseelogistics planning for modular transportation, site mobilization, manpowerdeployment, and equipment movement.

· Monitor andcontrol site and project budgets, including subcontractor costs and variations.

· Approvemanpower plans, major procurement commitments, and subcontractor invoices inline with delegated authority.

· Ensureoptimal utilization of resources, minimizing idle time and cost overruns.

· Reviewproject progress, cost and lesson learnt in a regular manner on Microsoft D365,such that project financial performance is reported in a timely manner, at theappropriate level, ensuring revenue realisation, budget contribution, andcontinuous improvement.

· Manage and drive all elementsof project performance with a view to maximising project efficienciestherefore, reducing costs in all project heads and increasing bottom lineEBITDA margins.

vi. Commissioning,Handover & Reporting

· Ensure workpackages achieve MechanicalCompletion (MC) prior to handover to commissioning teams.

· Ensure that all assignedprojects meet or exceed customer expectations thus, ensuring that CenturionSpecialist Services is known to delivery best in class products and services.

· Coordinatepreparation and approval of MC dossiers and punch list close-out.

· Supportcommissioning, testing, and client acceptance activities up to sail-away.

· Ensuretimely issuance of weeklyand monthly project progress reports, including schedule, cost,risks, and key actions.

· Maintaintransparent communication with HQ (Dubai) and senior management on projectstatus.

· Drive and manage dynamic andcontinuous project costing through validation and updation of budgets in linewith best-in-class procurement and optimum production hours derived throughcontinuous monitoring and management within the project environment thusensuring, optimised cost to completion of the project with enhancement toEBITDA margins.

B.1.QHSE Responsibilities

· Contributetowards the achievement of QHSE objectives and ensure all project activitiescomply with QHSE policy.

· Takeaccountability for the effectiveness of the QHSE management system withinassigned projects.

· IntegrateQHSE requirements into project execution, planning, and subcontractormanagement.

· Promoterisk-based thinking and continuous improvement across all project phases.

· Ensurecompliance with applicable legislation, client standards, and internationalcodes.

· Supportaudits, investigations, corrective actions, and lessons-learned implementation.

· Promotecustomer satisfaction through consistent delivery of safe, high-quality, andcompliant solutions.


A. Job Specifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, CivilEngineering, or equivalent.

· Minimum 15–18 years of experience in oil & gas,marine, or offshore construction projects.

· At least 10+ years in Project Management roles handlingmodular accommodation or offshore facilities.

· Proven experience managing projects at yards in India,Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.

· Strong understanding of modular construction, E&Isystems, HVAC, architectural fit-out, and multi-discipline interfaces.

· International certification in Project Management (PMP,PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.

· Strong commercial awareness and contract managementcapability.

· Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholdermanagement skills.

· Willingness to travel and work across internationalsites.
