About CEG
The Role
- Project planning, scheduling, and execution from inception to completion
- Resource, subcontractor, and vendor coordination
- Client and stakeholder management — updates, expectations, and change
- Risk identification and mitigation, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Based in Pottstown, PA or Northern VA, with travel to project sites as needed

What You'll Do
Project Execution
- Lead project planning sessions and develop detailed project schedules
- Oversee execution to ensure adherence to timelines, scope, and objectives
- Allocate and manage resources, including coordinating with subcontractors and vendors
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Engage clients and stakeholders to provide updates, manage expectations, and address concerns or changes
- Prepare and present regular project status reports highlighting progress, issues, and risks
- Build strong relationships that contribute to CEG’s growth and repeat work
Quality, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client specifications through regular reviews and inspections
- Proactively identify and assess project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Maintain safety standards and ensure regulatory compliance across the project
What You Bring
Education (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Studies, Construction Management, or a related field
Experience
- Generally 5+ years of relevant project management or technical project experience
- Track record delivering projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards
- Experience managing resources, subcontractors, and vendors
Certifications
- Valid driver’s license
- OSHA 10/30/40-hour certification — CEG will provide training if not already held
Preferred
- Experience with federal contracting is highly desirable
- Project management certification (PMP) or eligibility
- PE, PG, or similar professional license encouraged
- USACE QA/QC certification
Capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication — you can brief a client and a crew with equal clarity
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a team-driven environment
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to travel to project sites and to obtain access to secured federal and military installations as needed

Work Environment
- Based in the Pottstown, PA, or Northern Virginia
- A mix of office work and on-site presence at project sites
- Travel to project sites as needed
- Some work supports projects on secured federal and military installations, which may require a federal background check and REAL ID
