Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager for a Part-time opportunity. This opportunity requires travel to throughout the DMV area and the opportunity requires an active Public Trust clearance.

Position Summary:
The Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of cybersecurity assessment and penetration testing task orders supporting HHS OIG. This position serves as the primary interface between government stakeholders and contractor personnel, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality services, adherence to contract requirements, and effective communication across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage penetration testing task orders from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate project schedules, staffing assignments, deliverables, and customer communications.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings, status meetings, entrance conferences, results briefings, and exit meetings.
• Track milestones, risks, issues, action items, and contractual deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with performance standards related to completeness, accuracy, effectiveness, timeliness, and cost control.
• Coordinate development and review of Rules of Engagement and testing plans.
• Monitor quality assurance processes and support performance reporting.
• Serve as liaison between the Government Task Lead (GTL), Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), auditors, and technical staff.
• Support training coordination, logistics planning, and documentation management.
• Prepare meeting agendas, meeting minutes, project status reports, and executive briefings.
• Ensure all personnel maintain required training, security requirements, and reporting obligations.

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of project management experience supporting federal IT or cybersecurity programs.
• Experience managing cybersecurity assessment, penetration testing, or security operations projects.
• Strong understanding of federal contracting environments and stakeholder management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 4 High Risk Public Trust.
