Summary

The Project Manager leads complex automotive projects by managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards while serving as the primary interface for customers. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, performing risk management, and ensuring product designs meet all regulatory and customer requirements.

The Project Manager drives, leads and manages a Class S project (classification system might differ depending on business and functional area) within the specified time, budget and quality framework to the satisfaction of the customers, ensuring economic success for the company and profitability of the product over lifetime.

Main Task

  1. Work as interface for customers.
  2. Make Project planning.
  3. Adopt proper methods for project management.
  4. Responsible for Project controlling.
  5. Prepare for meetings, reviews and project milestones.
  6. Perform Risk management.
  7. Project coordination.
  8. Achieve the agreed project objectives.
  9. Take up responsibility for international projects and/or highly complex projects that require many years of experiences and successfully closed projects.
  10. Have International experience with other cultures is crucial to success.
  11. Select and identify the product and process special characteristic based on customer requirement, which including product legal regulations, applicable functions and assemble requirement etc.
  12. Establish the product quality objectives based on customer requirement, including ppm, process capability etc.
  13. Ensure the availability of qualified human resource, and related training plan.
  14. Handle the customer complaints timely, take necessary corrective and preventive measures to avoid the reoccurrences.
  15. Ensure the product and process design meet customer requirements.
  1. Bachelor in Engineering/ Business Administration or similar degree.
  2. At least 3 years experience in the automotive or comparable industry in a variety of functions.
  3. Subproject leader (e.g. Technical project leader or discipline project leader) of minimum 1 completed project of a reasonable size.
