Project Manager [Construction/Consultancy]
Summary
Oversee construction projects in Singapore, coordinating contractors, permits, budgets, and stakeholder meetings to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Consultant (SO Representative) in managing daily building contract operations, including project planning, coordination, reporting, and execution in accordance with the approved construction programme.
- Coordinate and participate in project briefings, presentations, technical reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
- Oversee project implementation, including permits, authority approvals, contract administration, and site supervision.
- Monitor contractors' and consultants' submissions, authority clearances, mock-ups, material approvals, shop drawings, method statements, and work schedules to ensure timely compliance.
- Track project progress, master programme, costs, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including Quantity Surveyors, to prepare project cash flow, cost reports, and progress updates.
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, Building Science, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline, recognized by BCA, the Board of Architects, or the Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
- Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in building construction or project management.
- Knowledge of Singapore Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (Construction, Design & Build, and Nominated Sub-Contract) is an advantage.
