Our client is an international project and cost management consultancy, delivering some of the world's most exciting construction projects across a wide range of sectors. As their Zurich team continues to grow, they're looking for an experienced Project Manager ready to take full ownership of client-facing project delivery.
You'll act as the single point of contact between the project team and the client — managing projects, either independently or as part of a wider team, from award through to successful completion. This is a role built on genuine autonomy: expert-level consultancy and project support across feasibility, design, procurement, construction delivery and post-completion phases.
What You'll Be Doing
- Take proactive day-to-day responsibility for small-to-medium sized projects, and support larger programmes of work
- Manage procurement strategy, tender management and contract administration
- Chair project meetings and deliver accurate, timely monthly reporting
- Facilitate risk and value management workshops and maintain project risk registers
- Act as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout project delivery
- Work in line with Health & Safety and Quality Assurance policies
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Project management experience in construction or real estate
- Strong track record across both pre- and post-contract delivery
- Fluent English and German, with Swiss German strongly preferred
- A confident, client-facing communicator, comfortable working with high autonomy
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with SIA phases / Swiss standard forms of contract
- Degree in project management or a related technical discipline (e.g. architecture, civil engineering)
- Working towards MAPM / MRICS / PRINCE2 or an equivalent qualification
- An additional Swiss national language (French or Italian)
