The Opportunity: Project Manager II, Platform & Systems Enablement
TELUS Digital is seeking a Project Manager II to join our Platform & Systems Enablement team. In this critical role, you will help drive the transformation of our digital platforms, leading data integration and mapping initiatives to improve platform connectivity and enhance user experiences. Reporting to the Manager — Program Office, you will collaborate with Senior Program Managers, Project Managers, and technical data teams to execute strategic initiatives and deliver measurable business outcomes. What You'll Do
Data Mapping & Integration
Support and coordinate data mapping projects that align business requirements with technical implementations
Work with technical teams to translate data requirements into clear mapping specifications and documentation
Track mapping progress to ensure deliverables are accurate and complete
Identify data transformation needs and coordinate solutions across multiple platforms
Document and communicate data flow requirements to stakeholders and development teams
Project Support & Execution
Assist Senior Program Managers and Project Managers in delivering programs that enhance our platforms
Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure smooth project delivery
Help develop project plans and deliverables that align with business objectives
Contribute to initiatives that improve customer and user experiences across solutions
Project Management & Delivery
Manage assigned projects and project components while maintaining quality standards and delivering to deadlines
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned initiatives
Identify potential risks and escalate as appropriate to ensure project success
Apply project management best practices and learn advanced methodologies
Assist with budget tracking and ensure projects remain within allocated resources
Coordination & Communication
Build positive working relationships with cross-functional team members, including data engineers and business analysts
Communicate project updates, data requirements, and technical specifications to stakeholders
Facilitate clear communication between technical and business teams
Coordinate meetings, maintain documentation, and support effective project communications
What You Bring
2–4 years of experience managing projects or supporting project teams
Demonstrated experience with data mapping, data integration, or ETL processes
Solid understanding of data concepts, data flow, and system integration principles
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience coordinating with diverse technical and business teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an eagerness to grow presentation abilities
Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret data requirements into actionable solutions
Adaptability and comfort in dynamic, fast-paced environments
Practical problem-solving approach to identify and resolve data integration challenges collaboratively
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
Growth mindset and eagerness to develop advanced skills in project management and data integration
Nice to Have
Experience in digital technology, platform environments, or working with data standards
Advanced skills in SQL, data warehousing, or database management
Project management training or entry-level certifications
Understanding of data quality assurance and validation processes
Experience with software platforms or enterprise systems
Interest in process improvement, operational efficiency, or data process optimization
