With over 30 years of experience in the development of software & digital products, Jungheinrich offers a broad portfolio and comprehensive expertise in the areas of warehouse, fleet, device, process, and interface management. We are looking for a motivated and skilled Development Engineer in Electrical Engineering to join our global power electronics development team. You will contribute to the design and evolution of traction charging systems and powertrain solutions, supporting projects across new development and serial support.
Set things in motion.
- Takeover of Control Systems projects from sales, including scope of delivery verification, project planning, project control, project risk management and (commercial) project closure with acceptance implementation
- Initialization of the project team in coordination with the implemented units
- Creation, maintenance and control of the Control Systems project schedule, including milestones
- Support of the project manager of the General Directorate in the overall schedule
- Coordination with internal departments and project managers as well as coordination of kick-off meetings with project partners (mechanics, software, etc.)
- Coordination of the implementation of control systems projects, including development and construction, coordination of subcontractors, testing, quality assurance, project documentation, commissioning and on-site user training
- Responsibility for the development of functional specifications, including participation in functional specification workshops of machines, cooperation in the development of functional specifications, final testing of functional specifications and review of safety-related topics
- Preparation of installation and commissioning requirements, including on-site inspection
- Responsibility for occupational health and safety in control systems projects and the development of occupational health and safety documents
- Coordination and review of travel activities, dispatch, work time etc. during Control Systems projects, as well as supporting team leaders in resource and vacation planning
- Participation in on-site status meetings as well as cyclical internal project meetings
- Escalation and damage management during project execution
- Coordination and control of BCS activities for control systems and cyclical testing of BSC project data
- Reporting to superiors (e.g. creating project status, G/V reporting obligations)
- Coordination of support transfers and creation of additional offers in cooperation with sales support
Use your skills.
- Technical training (apprenticeship, higher technical college, university of applied sciences,
university of technology), preferably in the fields of electrical engineering, automation,
mechanical science, mechatronics, electronics, industrial engineering - Professional experience in intralogistics
