This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager-Corporate Office IT & AV Upgrades based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact IT infrastructure and audiovisual upgrade projects across corporate office environments nationwide.
You will manage projects from initiation through completion, spanning planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
The position combines technical project management, client consulting, construction coordination, and technology delivery.
You will work directly with clients to define scope, budgets, schedules, resources, quality standards, and risk strategies.
The environment is highly collaborative, bringing together architects, engineers, technology teams, vendors, and contractors.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage end-to-end project delivery for technical commercial real estate initiatives, including IT infrastructure construction, office relocations, new builds, restacks, technology upgrades, and audiovisual improvements.
  • Partner directly with clients to establish project scope, delivery resources, budgets, cost estimates, schedules, milestones, quality expectations, and risk-management plans.
  • Collaborate with project teams to document IT requirements and define appropriate technology solutions across network, voice/data, wireless, telephony, audiovisual, security, and related infrastructure.
  • Lead resource selection by working with pre-qualified providers, managing requests for proposals, evaluating bids, and recommending vendors, contractors, and other delivery partners.
  • Establish and maintain project documentation governance aligned with client and organizational requirements, ensuring project data is accurate, complete, timely, and well coordinated.
  • Direct architects, engineers, vendors, contractors, and other project contributors by providing clear expectations, mentorship, guidance, and accountability.
  • Develop action plans to maintain project objectives, budgets, schedules, and quality standards, while tracking progress and communicating status, risks, and variances to stakeholders.
  • Identify project threats early and develop mitigation and contingency strategies to reduce or eliminate risks.
  • Apply project management principles and technical knowledge to resolve complex challenges and develop practical, innovative solutions.
  • Mentor colleagues, share subject-matter expertise, build consensus among stakeholders, and promote collaborative decision-making throughout project delivery.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, integrity, service, and excellence while managing client relationships and delivering successful project outcomes.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree preferred, with 5–8 years of relevant project management experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
    • PMP, LEED AP, and/or CCM certification is preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience managing IT construction projects involving network design and setup, voice/data cabling, telephony, wireless infrastructure, audiovisual systems, access control and security monitoring, or sound masking.
    • General knowledge of commercial leases, contracts, construction practices, and the ability to interpret architectural drawings and project documentation.
    • Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, risk management, quality control, and construction coordination.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as Microsoft Project.
    • Strong client-facing, communication, negotiation, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
    • Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage several project priorities while maintaining accuracy and accountability.
    • Comfortable identifying risks, making informed decisions, resolving conflicts, and building consensus among diverse stakeholders.
    • Ability to work effectively in changing environments and adapt project plans to evolving client requirements.
    • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
    • Willingness to travel overnight throughout the United States, with travel of up to approximately 25% depending on project requirements.
    • Ability to accommodate on-site presence requirements that may change according to client needs.
